Mads asked:
I want to make a soup and I need some ideas for healthy, nutrional, antioxidant-rich vegetables to put in it that will aid in weight loss. Recipes are welcome too!

I hear that grapefruit helps in reducing fat by “eating” away at it. But I’m pretty sure you don’t want that in your soup!
Cabbage soup. I don’t really measure it but I use approximately a head of cabbage, 5-6 carrots, one medium onion and a stalk of celery and about 48 oz of V8 and I always make extra for later.
My aunt makes cabbage soup, that’s all she eats all day when she wants to lose weight, and according to her it works. I’m not sure if she adds any other vegetables, I think carrots too.
broccoli…
cucumber..
grapes..!!!

simmer celery, lots of carrots, onion, leeks and tinned tomatoes in a oxo stock, add salt pepper, mixed herbs, oregano, garlic and tomato puree and simmer slowly for over an hour and then part blend, i make a huge panfull and freeze in tubs and then reheat from frozen.
